From Hyden to Dashboard, Vroom to Remember Maine (and many things in between) Sam Hurd has been influenced by music all of his life. He was born in Bethesda, MD but lived most of his life in Lynchburg, Va. He started playing music at 8 when he picked up a violin, but found his love in guitar. At 13, he started playing electric guitar (a lady luck) and spent hours in his bedroom learning Bush and Vroom licks. After some runs with bands RUI and Vermont (The Lynchburg Version), Sam found his lighter side and started playing acoustic guitar. Empowered by his uncanny ability to get heartbroken by women, Sam found therapy in writing songs with emotional lyrics and creative guitar. Sam now attends Christopher Newport University in Newport News, Va, where after more emotional heartbreaks, his music has matured and found its original style. He is now a favorite on the college radio shows and has started playing locally. Hurd has made a collection of music under the project name Ever Since July (formerly Since July, but that's taken (Thanks California!). Ever Since July's first album, "The Slowest Fall" has been cut and should (hopefully) be arriving at a label soon.
